Currently in Japan and I swear to God the mask complicance rate is easily north of 95%
Young, old, domestic, foreign, working class, leisure, corporate - they're all masked up.
We'll pass people who are outdoors, a solid block from anyone nearby... masked. Walking out of a hotel room? Masked. Getting up from a restaurant table? Mask goes on and it doesn't come off until their back in their seats.
Hand sanitizer is everywhere. Everyone is very conscious and deliberate with public health. Its a delightful change of pace.

This is a really good physical monument of the political spectrum. Bernie was the compromise, and he's 1 of 525 reps (+staff). So draw your line, then 1/525 of that line is "socialist".
I think Bernie is doing this from a personal POV (after the heart attack gun) and from a public policy PR POV. The fact that nobody else (And I have done zero research) wore a mask is wild. Like get the "leftist" caucus to all mask up and make it a discussion point.
