A very clear indication that a communist party shouldn't be signal boosting (or more controversially showing up to an event with) someone like this on their social media, hopefully it gets fixed as I was told my complaint was forwarded

MFW I find out FreikorpsFest wasn't attended by principled anti-war activists, but rather people wanting to cheerlead Putin's offensive against globohomo.
:shocked-pikachu:
I'm going through the thread and apparently there's photographs of neo nazis in attendance.
I feel like there has to be a middle ground between having some super strict event where only the most leftist ™ and pure® people can attend, and having neo nazis at the event and people dropping homophobic slurs
The middle ground is to go to the march on 3/18, which is organized by actual leftists. So funny that users of this site were calling anyone a "warmonger" and "online leftist" if you dared suggest that maybe these were bad people that should be avoided.
I didn't read any of that or participate in that discussion (I think I dropped one comment about how the radlibs/mainstream "left" failed to be anti war) because I'm not American and it's not my space to determine what actions Americans should take, but this thing and event with Tulsi Gabbard and Jimmy Dore just seems weird. Hope you can get some sort of antiwar coalition going soon though.

Those people aren't even anti-war. They just think resources should be shifted from Ukraine to a war with China.
I know! That thread was wild. Couldn't believe it
I think there can totally be a middle ground, this thing was never trying to be that
pro-ukraine nazis fighting pro-russia nazis over which country is more aryan while russian nazis go to war with ukranian nazis over who's more aryan
