This is a pretty common "ideology" you can find in former USSR countries. They have the same sort of unexamined politics that Americans do but they include the Soviet Union when they're using vibes to figure out which dudes rock.

No don't you know that 60% of the doctors in the doctors plot were Jewish and even though nothing came of it they were definitely going to deport all the Jews to death camps that never got built according to my cousins brothers uncle who told Kruschev but never wrote anything down anywhere?

It's so fucking frustrating the only countries that let Jews in without quotas were the Soviet Union and the the Dominican Republic, and the Dominican Republic only did it because some awful anti-Semitic crime had been committed there shortly before the war. The US turned back thousands of Jewish refugees to die in the camps but the USSR was anti-Semitic because 6 doctors were indicted on charges that were dropped and because the USSR tried to stop brain drain to Israel (and half of the people who said they were going to Israel switched flights in Italy and went to the US, until Israel stopped blanket issuing entry passes unless people could prove they were still practicing Jewish religion and culture).

And I hate this shit because I always sound like I'm uncritically defending the USSR but everything they think was bad about the USSR is absolute bullshit propaganda and they don't know a goddamn thing about actual problems it had so they're like "Oh you always defend everything the Soviets did" and it's like YES BECAUSE YOUR STUPID IGNORANT FUCKING BRAINWASHED ASS DOESN'T KNOW ANY CRITIQUES THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED CLIFFORD.

"Tankie" is being conflated with nazbol, and anti-imperialism is being mixed together.

Ultimately their goal is to eliminate anti-imperialism. So what I think is happening is the goal of conflating nazbols and tankies to the point of being indistinguishable in most people's eyes from actual communists.

Blur people's understanding enough until it's just all complete and utter nonsense. Then you stop people from becoming red, and you stop people from listening to anyone at all that IDs as red.

Wether it takes one year or one hundred, the ideas of socialism will take shape because they are a reflection of reality. Fascism depends on a state of denial, it can kill but in the end it will always kill itself.

          Afterwards, reality will be waiting.

You're correct in that simply wanting something really badly isn't enough to get it. That would be asinine.

I would, however, argue that we need to at least believe something better is possible and not just a daydream which makes our current Purgatory hurt more. If we've given up before we've even done anything, we're just liberals.

I don't think it's meant squash anything. It just seems like a spit in the face of someone who's already beaten and bleeding on the floor. There's literally no material reason for someone to become a "nazbol" in the US outside of being a 15 year old playing HOI or being a grown ass man who's bored and rich enough to troll, similar to bored apes

It's definitely a thing in Russia. Soviet symbols are very popular as nationalist symbols. I haven't looked in to it very closely but it seems to be pure nationalism with no remnants of leftist thought or ideology attached.
