Oh didn't see what this was a reply to and thought it was a co worker thing. As a customer you can be as based as you want within legal limits and you won't be kicked out of the store, if you have spare time, get creative with that, it's easy and fun praxis

good looking out, yeah. The place I've been working on the most is CVS. All the stores i've ever been to are so extremely understaffed, overworked, they're messy as shit cause there is usually only one person stocking the entire store, the pharmacy line gets like 10+ deep sometimes and everyone who works there just seems so tired and hating their job. I really feel bad for all the cvs workers, it's so blatant how bad they're being exploited

Complain to management about it and encourage others to do so as well. You can see how overworked and underpaid they must be and you don't like giving your business to such a place. Make sure it's about seeing how long people are working and not that they look unhappy or anything that can make a workers life harder. If they force a happy face on employees while still doing the same crap, keep calling em out. Be the crank you want to see. It's fun.

Edit: I wish I was old rn instead of when it won't matter. Just distracting a Manger for a full day talking about how minimum wage would buy you a house no mortgage required and the longest car in town on your first paycheck with enough left over to see a moving picture show and how they should be ashamed for what they're doing to young people. Old person guilt is an amazing superpower.
