Every single nurse I've interacted with in a healthcare setting has been wearing crocs; there must be a reason. More than one I'm sure - I imagine they're easy to wash and disinfect but more than that, nurses work all day upright, rarely sitting. Those things must be comfortable.

So while they're ugly as fuck, they seem to have their uses.

They're one of those things that gets maligned because of their popularity with lazy slobs, but the comfort and functionality can not be denied. The Snuggie and cargo shorts are other examples. While they are all too ugly for me to be caught wearing in public, I sure as fuck will enjoy them in private.

I have some Crocs ballet flats that are amazing, so of course they stopped making them. Unlike the ballet flats they're making these days that look very plastic, the ones I have are textured so they look like suede. They're incredibly comfortable, waterproof, cute, classic, PERFECT. I bought them in brown and immediately wished I had black too, but couldn't find them. I was at an outlet mall and they had TONS. I am a dummy though because I only bought one pair in black and I should have bought backup pairs in every color because they're perfect but they're wearing out :powercry-2:
