Fun fact: McDonald’s generated 10 billion in earnings before taxes depreciation and amortization… split amongst its 150,000 workers its an extra $66,900 per year, and that’s including bloated corporate salaries
14k per worker is still a pretty good bump. Plus if McDonald’s has to increase their prices a bit to pay workers better, that’s fine. Start with the profits though.

McDonald’s only has 150,000 employees? Does that not count franchises or some other stupid bullshit that shouldn’t exist?
Ah yeah good call that was a lazy google on my part that’s corporate employees
Let’s take number of franchises then (40,000) and assume 30 people per franchise and it’s an extra 9k per worker
But even that is inaccurate since the franchisees take a piece of the revenue too like good little capitalists
Edit: apparently the franchise owners take $150k so that’s $14k total per worker

Right that’s pure cream off the top. The next question of course is about these executive salaries…
Oh fucking hell it’s stupid but I genuinely forget that executive salaries aren’t included in profits
