    Five hour travel

    Eight hour work (at best)

    Eight hour sleep

So that's at most three hours of free time a day and that seems fine to this guy?

How could anyone possibly be this cucked?

Surprisingly normal occurrence in the NYC labor market. My friend got a Manhattan Big Law job pulling down six figures, but he was literally sleeping under his desk through the weekend. Eventually, it occurred to him that a six figure salary while working 100+ hrs/week meant effectively working 2.5 jobs at normal-people rates. So he quit, moved back down to Texas, and got an Emails Job that paid slightly less with normal 9-5 hours.

Take the train, work on the train as part of your work day. I hope

There's an Amtrak between New Haven and Manhattan. But at that point... why not just work from home? What is working on the train even getting you? Come in once or twice a month tops.

Was doing 3 hours to and from a client out in the sticks and got paid for it, plus mileage, which was not terrible up front. But several months in, yeah. It grinds on you. I was showing up burned out and leaving a zombie, then playing catch-up over the weekends on shit I couldn't do on-site.

We ended up losing the client because we kept missing deadlines. And I ended up finding a new job that didn't have any of these crazy travel requirements.

Idk if "Male Model poses for photo-op in obviously phony paid publicity stunt" is licking boot so much as hustling for extra scratch.
