Excerpt of Chapter 13 of Women, Race, and Class by Angela Davis

really good reading that focuses on the impacts on the effective gender segregation of productive vs reproductive labor and its ramifications, plus a look to the future towards how this problem might be alleviated by technology and better political organization. The whole book goes hard and Davis is obviously a GOAT but this passage is particularly topical

I've only been reading fiction lately, so no theory to add. However, I've been reading Lois McMaster Bujold's books in the World of the Five Gods, and I'm having a wonderful time. The world building and the characters are outstanding.
