Ignore the fact that RT is trying to spin this as a bad thing, bc it is obviously good

Officials in the German capital of Berlin have introduced new rules for public swimming pools and bathing facilities, allowing women to use them topless. The measure was introduced after a successful anti-discrimination complaint was hailed as a step towards creating “equal rights” for all of the city’s residents by a local anti-discrimination ombudsperson.

They had to throw in the scare quotes to show they disagreed with the woke mind virus that caused this :data-laughing:

Yes, but they explicitly mentioned that this applies both to women and enbies.

Germany explicitly recognises enby as a third gender in law so it makes sense to clarify that.

"Third option" was mostly meant for intersex people, but yes, it does include nonbinary identities as well. They're often overlooked, though. Changes to our highly gendered language that would include them are turned into contentious culture war issues, and most enbies have to hide their identities and pretend they're binary trans people if they want to transition because our healthcare system is highly exclusionary to them. I'm glad that Berlin is ahead of the curve in that regard, it's generally the most trans friendly place around here.
