He's good folks.
Between this and his video explicitly calling for the end of capitalism, very very good: https://youtu.be/wdqhbW6kipM
UPDATE: He's straight up spreading theory https://youtu.be/q_9Jh74nEaI
my partner recently put on one of his long playlists that spanned like 10 years and i remember going "i swear i can hear him radicalizing left year by year". basically took the jimsteph stirling path of seeing capitalism in decay through the video game industrial complex
He used to be very much the weird reactionary nerd stereotype, so it's good to know he grew out of it. I always liked his games.
"And no, I don't wear the hat in real life anymore" - Yahtzee in an earlier promo.
He really has grown!
Exploited unpaid labor from a friend, sadly. And fired them after they expressed frustration over this to their own friends, who immediately went and told Steph about it.
yikes, just read up on it, i cant conclude much other than "never work for a friend"
If I remember right, back when Stephanie worked with the Escapist, the two did some collaborations, so it would make sense if Yahtzee also watches their stuff
Nah he's a pretty good one, just had his edgy phase back in the early 2000s. He was never particularly hateful
I think, if you're going to look at games as in-depth as he does, for as long as he has, you're going to inevitably go left.
The ones complaining about diversity do not look very in-depth at games.
Also, this review is the biggest relief I ever heard. The Magic Antisemitism Game sucks on its own merits as a game. I was scared it might actually have some charm as a wizard schoolchild simulator.
