One retired Marine lieutenant colonel from Virginia is the focus of a U.S. federal investigation into the potentially illegal export of military technology. A former Army soldier arrived in Ukraine only to turn traitor and defect to Russia. A Connecticut man who lied about his military service has posted live updates from the battlefield — including his exact location — and boasted about his easy access to American weapons. A former construction worker is hatching a plan to use fake passports to smuggle in fighters from Pakistan and Iran.

America is getting ready to push Ukraine out the nearest airlock and pretend they never had any responsibility.

They'll blame the volunteers that turned out to be failed US "veterans" or outright criminals while still pushing the narrative that Wagner is unprofessional, low quality and just full of criminals themselves.

They'll blame Zelensky for being selfish and unreasonable for going against the US "suggestions". In reality everything Ukraine has done was with US intelligence and express support so far. If it turns out the war is lost in Bakhmut then the war was lost 6 or 8 months ago when Russia mobilized. Not like they're smart enough to acknowledge this though.

They'll blame the Ukrainian people for not being truly democratic and worthy of our western "values", the Ukrainians will be called inefficient, corrupt, shortsighted etc and blamed entirely for the war, as if it was entirely Ukraine's responsibility and decisions that led to this. BTW if you pay attention to the EU this is already happening for some time now, Poland is constantly bickering and bitching about Germany not doing enough.

Then finally they'll continue to blame Russia, pretend Minsk never happened, pretend the US never supplied weapons and money to prepare Ukraine for war, pretend NATO didn't know about the nazis since 2014, pretend stupid fucking Merkel didn't outright admit they never had any intention of negotiating peace etc. Russia and Putin will always continue to be blamed for being the aggressors.

But obviously the last point was always going to happen regardless, the key point is them starting to turn against Ukraine. The US is creating the narrative, the plausible deniability that will allow them to pull out and blame everything on Ukraine and Russia.

Without a navy, China isn't getting that oil from Saudi Arabia. The US can step on China's air supply any time it wants to.

In theory that is certainly possible but that is also a prelude to WW3 move, a naval blockade against Saudi is pretty much open war against OPEC+, that would destroy the world economy in about 5s.

Critical support for every dipshit western T E Lawrence wannabe who wastes resources, starts petty arguments, causes confusion, compromises opsec and otherwise impedes the smooth functioning of the Ukranian military.
