You could go to jail for USING a VPN to access those sites. It also allows the government to "regulate and shut down" any social media site with more than 1 million users. Meaning that all big social media networks would have to do whatever the government wants, since the govenment has a constant threat of banning their network at their fingertips.

    In communist china, western sites are banned but the government doesn’t even care about VPNs to access them. The US wants to become china but worse

    Also wasn’t the US backing off on Maduro for oil? Or did Biden forget? Or did the deal fall off?

      The US allowed venezuelan companies to produce and sell oil, they removed the oil sanctions. The problem is that most refineries (these were made using american parts back in the 60's/70's) were broken and lacking parts. It seems the US and Russia both offered the needed money to fix it.
