    I have a coworker who keeps getting caught carrying his firearm into the workplace. He should have been fired the first time, but they let him stay because of nepotism. We work around explosive gasses

    you should report his ass to OSHA or something lol

        1926.900(b): Smoking, firearms, matches, open flame lamps, and other fires, flame or heat producing devices and sparks shall be prohibited in or near explosive magazines or while explosives are being handled, transported or used.

        This is straight from OSHA's website so I think it does, his firearm is endangering other employees and management has a responsibility to address it

          This reads as strictly in the context of explosive environments (i.e. atomized gas). As I understand it individual employers are allowed to set their own firearm rules, with the exception of state based laws that may supersede some of it.
