that's right it's ya boy. gonna be able to quit my stupid bullshit office job at the end of the year and then travel for a while instead of having to wait until January 2025 to do so. literally got 18 months of my life back by being diligent with my Invisalign, bless up

travel south America for a few months > cruise from Buenos Aires to Spain > travel kkkEurope for a few months > teach English in china, here I come. I'm over the fucking moon rn, next round of drinks is on me

cringe, I didn't know that. might be able to skirt it by getting experience teaching somewhere else first, or I might just bite the bullet and get the certification necessary

also yeah cruise ships are trash but the alternative is a flight which isn't great either. 18 extra days of vacation in the middle of the ocean >>>

Don't worry about it. You're a native speaker, you'll be fine. Maybe don't go to BJSHGZSZ, just go to a normal city. I'd help you get a job but I don't know how without doxing myself.

Stay off the cruise ship though

yeah my top choice city is Kunming anyway. the tier 1 cities are too expensive for a teachers salary apparently

last time I was on a cruise I was 12 so I'm very curious to see what it's like as an adult. expecting some real weirdos, but I'm mostly doing it so I have an interesting story. not many people cross the ocean by boat nowadays

You should simply learn how to teach properly so you don’t ruin a bunch of kids’ education

i haven't physically done it, but i have looked into it... there is an entire industry you can take advantage of where you can travel via container/freighter ship.

      https://www.transitionsabroad.com/publications/magazine/0105/freighter.shtml

i also find flying disgusting, especially for long flights and am considering something like this for when i escape the US for good. if nothing else, it would probably make an interesting story.
