In all seriousness, there is a reverse Settlers of Catan and I like it more.
Spirit Island is a cooperative board game where you play as the protective spirits of an island and defend yourselves against the colonizers by murdering them.

I came in here to plug Spirit Island, very good game with high repayability and low but not zero orientalism
It's not too bad at base difficulty, but it quickly gets out of control with adversaries. Best I ever did was level 4 of I think Prussia with 3 players (with both expansions).
I deserve that even though it came from a place of sex revulsion, thank you.
I read Settlers and all I learned was this stupid game.
