I have a large breed dog, over 100lbs at two years old. Our vet told us for him to sleep 14-18 hours in a twenty four period was fantastic, dogs sleep when they're relaxed, if the dogs young, that's when the growing happens.
I wish I could sleep that much. I'm jealous of our four legged sleepyheaded comrades.
