    Capitalism doesn't generally do that (Eg. British-Raj India killed 100 million, due to invested plantation and industrial interests, without needed superstition)

    Developing settler-colonial capitalism and the developing idea of lebensraum, against the Indigenous' will, specifically be like that tho... (cuz land and resources; we forget sometimes that the birth marks of medieval and 'enlightened' early modern England still lay upon colonial America)
