So yeah, I'm pretty sure I just killed a tick in my house and I'm not really sure if I need to be doing anything? It was just the one so I don't know if there are any more.

but my very outdoorsy cousin just moved into our basement so maybe came in with him.

Going to say that's probably it or it came in on it's own.
