I think you forget how much corporate structures amplify Tucker's voice. Fox and affiliated news channels are huuuge.

Its possible, although i think you give Fox a little too much credit here. Carlson certainly has the resources and has set up his own platform in the past. He could certainly do better than O'Reilly's basement show. But Fox as a platform is why he has been the nations top demagouge (after :thicc-trump: ) Before he took over that timeslot, he was not in that same position, despite being the same piece of shit. I don't think theres any way this doesn't hurt his ability to do what he does, because he's never going to reach the same amount of people. Alex Jones had his own platform, and being kicked off Youtube didn't make him go away, but he does not reach the same audience. Honestly, whoever Fox puts in that timeslot is going to be the #1 rightwing media demagouge because Fox is the only platform that has an audience that size. I agree that Carlson is still very dangerous, and given his personal wealth its possible he could do much better than i expect after this. Likely whoever takes over will be just as bad or worse and pick up where he left off, much like Carlson did after O'Reilly

I sort of doubt he'll keep doing the same thing on his own, he doesn't believe in shit except his paycheck. Fox will scoop another talking head out of the vat while he does the chud media circuit for a while and then fucks off to the bahamas.

OAN's audience is a degree or two of magnitude smaller than fox news and that's the best possibility. It's not good or bad for us, but it's personally bad for Tucker Carlson, finance wise. Plus we don't even know the circumstances of his departure yet, he could be an extremely toxic asset for networks finances.

Just get Jon Stewart in the same room with him again lol, not sure how his media career survived their first encounter tbh.
