      Even in that genre there's a noticeable dividing line between "enriching content produced with input from artists, writers and educators" and "creepy search-engine-optimized trash", and the latter is winning.

          Some of the garbage currently taking up space on the Kids section of Netflix (a service which I am PAYING FOR) honestly has more in common with that shit than it does with, say, Sesame Street, so I wouldn't be surprised.
