The lore must flow What did you think of this week's chapter?
Break next week
Imu a confirmed incel.
Sadly doesn't seem like we'll learn why the Roger pirates chose not to reveal the truth of the Void Century any time soon. This chapter has me really curious now, especially since Rayleigh called Vegapunk out on giving spoilers
Confirmed? Wait is the person in that portrait lily.
Well roger and people like dragon/vegapunk seem far apart. Unless there's a connection. They have implied before about roger and his group being early to the one piece. Maybe that's why Rayleigh doesn't want to give it away. Possibly VP may not know about the 20 year limit or what is to come.
It's probably Lily since it looks like Vivi and Imu has some sort of interest in Vivi, maybe because she looks like Lily.
I'm headcanon-ing it for now as Rayleigh thinks it's something that needs to be discovered instead of told, but the timing thing does seem like it's very important.
Yeah it could be. That's the only name im uttered.
Rogers crew knew they were early. I guess Rayleigh doesn't want anyone to know what they were early for. Vegapunk doesn't know that but he suspects they might know something. Possible that rayleigh is just not fine lighting a fire under roger's crew after all these years.
my prediction is that we have to have an elbaf arc before we get the one piece arc, so they're getting off the island while the elders fight the robot.
With how eventful Egghead has been I wonder if Elbaf will be like the Jaya half of the Sky Island arc?
One of my irrational fears is that Oda is going to pull a bothsides sort of thing with the ancient kingdom and the World government. Like one side is clearly in the wrong (with all the genocide and slavery).
Vegapunk saying that the war was between ideologies makes me hopeful that it's something irreconcilable, but shonen manga do love to do that shit
Eh maybe. But at this point its been reiterated that this joyboy was a figure associated with liberation. And even after the void century its implied heavily that the ruling class which won needs its slavery intact and the military stranglehold intact.
The chapter said it was a faction including the kingdom. The way punk puts it about conflicting ideology says more about him. And throughout this arc he is consistently implied to be a useful idiot to the elders and a very naive person who doesn't think much of ramifications that will drag him sooner.
More buildup, payoff yet to come. I kinda just have to hold off on judgement until we see what actually comes of this.
Gotta have the giant robot fight the giant elder monsters first of course
The elders, navy and im failed to silence a whistleblower like in ohara. Now they are at a stalemate. I don't see much more payoff than that. Most that could happen is that the robot could fight or im can do something. That's about what I can think of.
