He used to be on YouTube. Maybe still is. But I would not consider him (unhealthily) paranoid if not.

Brave as fuck whether online or outside. Like David Rovics. Black Maoists in the US are fucking hardcore. The US kills people for being either, let alone both

He absolutely does uphold Gonzalo. All MLMs uphold Gonzalo. You don't have to be an MLMpM to uphold him. The main difference is the same way both the Communist Party of Cuba and the Worker's Party of Korea uphold Kim Il Sung, but only the Worker's Party of Korea actually build their party line and ideology based on Kim Il Sung's writings. His particular pre-party formation using writings by Joma instead of Gonzalo is like how the Communist Party of Vietnam uses writings by Ho instead of Mao.

It is good that the PCP existed, it is good that Chairman Gonzalo looked around at the state of his country and, out of love of his country and people, risked his life and sacrificed his freedom to organize his students and other masses to transform it through force of arms. Excesses and errors aside, his struggle and the struggle of his comrades in arms who sacrificed their lives breathed life into the Communist project at what was termed by many “the end of history” and “the end of Communism”.

Yeah, some petty bourgeois settler professor and his gang of settler college students enacting a reign of terror on the Indigenous peasantry is hardly something worth emulating. Compare them with the MRTA, which at least tried to incorporate Indigenous people into their struggle and centered the texts of a Peruvian Marxist as their guiding ideology. I don't know enough about MRTA to say whether they were genuinely good or had other major flaws, but as far as not enacting a reign of settler terror and reproducing settler colonialism, they had the Gonzaloites beat. Or consider the EZLN, where the majority of its members are Indigenous even with settler members like Marcos. They have successfully decolonized parts of Chiapas from the settler colony of Mexico. There's a reason why the EZLN is still around and the PCP is not.

Peru is a settler colony like the US and Mexico. Just because it doesn't look like a typical Anglo settler colony like the US or Australia doesn't mean it isn't one as well. Being a settler colony means the primary contradiction of settler colonialism has to be dealt with first. The contradiction of settler colonialism is only resolved with either the complete extermination of the Indigenous population ie genocide or the overthrow of the settler regime and land stewardship returned to the Indigenous population ie land back. The Gonzaloites absolutely did nothing on the front of returning land to the Indigenous population. If anything, they arguably did their own ultra-leftist brand of cultural genocide by banning Indigenous ceremonies in the areas they controlled. It's just more settler colonial bullshit.

This is plainly untrue, this is like saying all MLs uphold Pol Pot

Most MLs don't go around writing obituaries when Pol Pot kicked the bucket because he was a genocidal piece of shit. Yet despite the fact that most MLMs apparently don't uphold Gonzalo, you see countless articles and tweets, from BRG to the CPP's official website to a bunch of Irish Maoists, all giving their two cents about how the death of Chairman Gonzalo is a complete tragedy. This is a very strange way of not upholding someone.

Just because most Maoists consider Joma a better leader, role model, writer, and so on than Gonzalo doesn't mean they don't uphold Gonzalo as well. You don't have to carry around giant portraits of Gonzalo to uphold him. Almost all MLs uphold Luxemburg and Sankara even if most MLs don't go around carrying portraits of them both or even read their works. Non-MLMpM Maoists definitely think Gonzalo is flawed, but in the typical "70% right, 30% wrong" that they say for people who attract more controversy like Mao.

Yes certainly every maoist currently fighting in India and the Phillipines take a minute out of their day to support fucking Gonzalo, that seems very real and very true

The CPP's website on Gonzalo's death: Revolutionary salute to Abimael ‘Comrade Gonzalo’ Guzman! How is this not upholding Gonzalo? Compare that article to the one where Joma passed away. It's the same general laudatory tone. Whether the individual Maoist thinks Gonzalo is cool or not isn't particularly relevant because they belong to a party that does. Maoists aren't anarchists. They have a party line to uphold and that party line upholds Gonzalo, so they uphold Gonzalo as well.

Learn from Gonzalo. If you find yourself doing a Lucanamarca, ask for help.

My advice to people like this (good line + sadism) is to grow up and punch upwards. Make it count. Understanding power and not being sadistic are good actually. That's why Gonzalo and Kissinger were effective

Unit 731 is Human Nature without Schopenhauer and Marx. Kissinger is his class and he wouldn't work in Guantanamo Bay for free. He would nuke any city if he though it would further his goals

Read about John von Neumann. Basically Kissinger but smarter (bourgeois, understood things)
