The woke PPC (Professori-Procurator Class) thinks that we can avoid revolutionary destruction of our Mercantilist Imperial economy and simply reform the economic relations of the Patron and Client with mandatory minimum client payments and tax incentives for patrons to bequeath farmland. But this is PPC reformism! The client patron network is inherently hierarchical and a form of patronage-slavery (not to downplay the positions of enslaved war captives). But because their credentials and skill with the wax tablet guarantees a preferential treatment as clients, they do not want to risk their status as a first class client.
