What's ironic is that the Miata is disparaged by truck/muscle car/SUV owners as a chick car, yet they are overwhelmingly driven by men. Unlike those big bad American vehicles which are driven by moms on a shopping run half the time.

Well that's the point. When you sit in a driver's seat of a Miata, you're probably sitting in a seat another guy has sat in. That means you're indirectly touching his butt, which is gay. And you know what else is gay? Women.

          QED, commie.

A lot of people don't understand things and I don't even claim to be good at understanding things. Least of all physics (if you hate work, study art)

I think it's interesting that some cars transcend class lines. Like, if you want a Miata or a Prius you have to buy one of those because there is basically no bourgeoisie equivalent.

Nah, the experiences you get with the Elise and Tesla are fundamentally different.

I've never driven any of the four but a Series 3 Elise seems like it would drive like a slightly-lighter, stiffer ND with an upgraded turbo. Tesla is very different than a Prius but the Prius is made for fuel efficiency which isn't something the bourgeoisie care about.

I’ve driven the Elise we have at the Museum and the driving experience is nothing like the Miata. It’s like shooting an AR15 instead of a Camera.

And yeah the Prius has fallen out of favor over the last 15 years or so, but there was a time when it was the poster for greenwashing.
