Probably viewing pirates as free riders on the Nintendo bus. I think there's also the "I had to wait to play, so you should to" thing happening here. Also misplaced anger at anyone spoiling the game if that's happening (no idea).

There was some in the last one and it seems like more in this one. I kind of liked the merpmoop voices though.
