Been wanting to get on for awhile, but hit a number of barriers and ave now read that it is pretty inaccessible if you arent on the mainland(they have a Webio international that apparently just never lets anyone sign up, always has error in registering an account- kind of shadow ban people are saying). So, the best resources I've found about how to get on so far has been- get wechat, use wechat to use 易博通eSender, register a mainland phone number, then create a webio account with that number. (at work rn and cant try to test if it works)
Any comrades have any input, yall on Webio? How'd you get on- will what I've described above work, you think? Whats Webio like??
ummm sweaty they aren't allowed porn in dystopian china dont lie to me also i wont click that link also anything you say is a lie because ur a bot lol /s

Yeah, I could have been clearer- I was excited about the Webio international because supposedly it features both the original Chinese and English translations. And I'm english dependent right now, so cruising around on the site, and copy pasting things into google translate has given me limited access. I just got super stoked to have a system that doesn't require all those inputs to scroll. Do you read chinese? Or use some software or something to translate?
So helpful! Thanks so much for all these resources! Cant wait to get home and get to check all these out!!
Seriously, thanks so much for responding to the post-! This is a treasure trove for me and my book club- we've been focusing on china, and I totally hear your point about social media, and we are all still looking forward to getting a little more of a casual glimpse, as opposed our current historical focus. If that makes sense? Anyway, thanks again for all the great intel!!
