It did not go unnoticed when, in a photograph from the Oval Office posted to President Joe Biden’s account this week, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, Senator Mitch McConnell and Representative Hakeem Jeffries were all captured wearing some variant of the dreaded footwear hybrid: the sneaker shoe.
At least they put his nonsense in the style section.
The dress sneaker is good actually. I imagine it’s the next fashion innovation from engineers right after their last hit “a dress shirt tucked into your jeans.” I for one applaud the working stiff community for constantly giving us new ways to feel comfortable without getting yelled at by our boss
