During the 2020 protests I remember them trying to hijack every single event by bringing up Bob Avakian every 10 seconds, and were pretty cringe (such as shushing people to stop saying Fuck The Police when marching past the LAPD in Hollywood)
People started calling them Trotskyist Scientology
As someone who’s interacted with Rev Com because they’re at every protest in my city, they definitely bank on naive young leftists to show up and listen to whatever crap they peddle. Which is why they love going to colleges and high schools.
They managed to be the ones that got control of the abortion rights march when Dobbs came through in my city. Every org was ready to do the march, but the Rev Coms announced it first and managed to get the largest crowd draw.
That's their go-to which is to try to upstage every protest they can find and make it about themselves.
They apparently barred an abortion doctor from speaking. Great job y'all.

I went to a bunch of protests where the Rev Coms would show up. In my town they do it by pretending to be unaffiliated, but it's always the same people with the same types of flyers. They're really weird and like collecting lists of emails and signatures.
