I could only make it 1/3 of the way through. This is the danger of being terminally online

so NAFO chuds are so dedicated to hating ANYTHING that is even remotely associated with russia at all that this dude wrote over a dozen tweets about a fucking ice cream??? the way this guy ties appreciation for a popular brand of ice cream in the soviet union (which is expected, a ton of people probably ate it often as children) into like proof of how russians are all fascists is some wild mental gymnastics.

and aside from the totally crazy assumptions this guy is making about something that’s literally just milk and sugar, i have heard from my russian family that plombir was actually very delicious back in the day so this is probably just cope.

Go into the replies and like the third one is about somebody who tried and liked Ukrainian Plombir, because of course it was a Soviet dessert not just a Russian one.

I like plombir still, however in my country they put extremely large stickers with MADE IN LITHUANIA/LATVIA on it to make it okay and not evulll due to putinist mind warp powers.

I'm pretty sure these are people bullied off of 4chan, then forged in reddit. It makes me irrationally angry how lame they are.

tbh I could see any garden-variety western liberal having this take. It's not like your typical lib is any less deranged.

It's genuinely shocking to me how fast, how far, and how deep the hate for anything Russian has spread. "Hate the government not the people" went out the window in the first week, now anything that's remotely Russian is to be hated and scorned.

in some russian grocery stores in the US, anything mentioning russia at all has been pulled from store shelves and the store’s decor out of fear of american chuds pissing themselves over it. among liberals especially there’s a complete rejection of anything that’s associated with russia at all because the russia = bad brainworms are very real.
