    Ok but what if a particularly large falcon just grabs one of the rings on the orb? Or a eagle, if they feel so inclined?

      foxes, possums and raccoons can easily reach in there and maim them. which is a thing they all do when trying to pull one through a hole of that size when they get a grip on some appendage.

      birds of prey might pick one up or they might find it too weird. but the orb looks clumsy enough to not let them sit under small shady shrubs/cover to hide from shadows in the sky.

      without testing this out personally I give this device a 7/10 on the dubious scale and 3 frowny faces.

      Chickens weigh a surprisingly large amount + the weight of the frame means it's probably a bit too heavy for, like, a falcon. I'd be more worried about foxes or cats cornering the thing and trying to find a way in.
