Trump’s gonna fire his lawyer so he can give a closing argument where he tells the jury about jury nullification, but the judge will have to declare a mistrial.
This would result in 1-2 decades of liberals saying "isn't that something Donald Trump invented?" every time a leftist mentions jury nullification, and I am inclined to rate it plausible for that reason alone.
give a closing argument
I think it would be funnier if this week he started to mention it all the time: on social media, in interviews, yelled at reporters, and in his speeches as an applause line.
"You know what I'm gonna say now?" The audience makes starts to buzz in anticipation. "They don't want me to say it. Do you want me to say it?" They start saying yes. "What is it?" They are chanting nullification. "I think I hear something." They get louder. "Yeah. That's it. Jury nullification is—" They start cheering in wild ecstasy. Trump is very surprised or he's pretending to be. He lets them keep yelling as he turns his head to the right and then the left. They keep screaming and eventually the sound starts to die down.
"Jury nullification for the witch hunt trials. It's good folks."
i dream of making my way onto a jury and hiding my power level until it's time to start voting.
