we keep it open because it gives us some elements of "maybe some of this will get through to someone" but it rarely does and also we get to ban people who really deserve it
maybe worth trying to shift away from reddit, i'll bring it up with the mod cabal
If not I might try to post there more to balance it out, at least until reddit shuts down the third party apps or old.reddit. It's been really nice to have a hobby space where I don't have to see chuds making the billionth excuse for fascism and fantasizing about "purging the heretic, mutant, and (((aliens)))"
