China's skyrocketing renewable energy sector has lead to them reaching the goal of less than 50% of power capacity being fossil fuels two years ahead of schedule. Solar power has increased by 33% and wind has increased by 12% in the last year.
Important caveat: this refers to peak generation, which is not often achieved in practice with weather dependent power sources like solar and wind. Actual power consumption was at 28.8% for renewables in 2020, with the current five year plan aiming for 33% by 2025. For comparison, the US is currently at 20%.

It's funny because he's not stupid, but he also doesn't have my same brainworms. His energy is directed elsewhere. He's currently working on a plan to sell his poop. Also, modern China is really just a Potemkin China. Real China collapsed a long time ago and no longer exists.
