That's the worst. Had several weeks like that a few months ago. Our kids are young enough that you can't just rest if they're up. Felt like we'd never recover . mypillow-stare

Kiddo 1s first dance recital was today, she had so much fun. I could tell she was a little anxious about it, but she loved it.

"What do you think, do you want you do dance class next year?"

    "No."

    "No?"

"Nope! Only dance on stage 😎"

Might have a little performer in our hands.

Kids dancing are so cool! Mine started to do half sit-ups instead of standing russian twists when he plays his music

These little kids in their little dance outfits were just too cute. Some of them were so serious, some of them were really giving it their all, some were just happy to be on stage lol. On large group got out on stage, and it took a little longer to get the music queued up, one of the girls pointed into the crowed and shouted, "HI MOM!", which prompted them all to start scanning for their parents and shouting "HI MOM! HI DAD!". It was very adorable.

Spent this weekend organizing and cleaning. Kids were surprisingly helpful I remember being an utter nightmare when I was their age

My kid took his first free steps yesterday, even turned around. Still not full confidence in his ability but it's for sure only him being scared of falling Once he learns to trust his ability he will freely walk!!

That's so exciting! Once they become mobile, it's like a whole new world for them. Our youngest isn't there yet, but he's just starting to use the low profile furniture to pull himself up. The other night, he started shuffling along the couch, which was fun to watch! He is one fast crawler, though, and watching him chase his sister around the living room is so fun. That age is a real treat, so much for them to discover, you're going to have a lot of fun!

Yeah we might have to explore the fenced in playgrounds more tho lol but we might be able to more easily visit others in the area without having to drag the stroller out of the cellar or carrying him
