I read about this ages ago, but I've never forgotten the story of the hatch being launched back from the bathysphere with the force of a cannon. Absolute miracle no one was killed when this happened, honestly.

    wtyp Did a good one on the Byford Dolphin explosive decompression. 5 people died and the quickest one was a guy being pushed through a crack in a door like a playdough machine by the decompression
