In Milwaukee the sky is fucking green from all the smog and shit. When went there it was hard to breathe. I couldnt imagine going to New York.

    many reasons.

    1. if they need special services (like a niche healthcare specialist) cities are more likely to have them
    2. they have lived there since they where little so they dont want to leave so they can support there parents if/when they need it or get support from their parents if/when they need it
    3. (this one does tend to vary more between countries and states/provinces) transit. if you cant drive or even just dont like to drive then cities are often your only choice
    4. its what they are used to. if you grew up in cities then you wont be used to rural areas and lots of people just dont feel comfortable having to figure out how to live in a significantly different setting for a long time (short term they probably would be [like for a vacation])
