Now that I've learned that sonar can kill people and animals I'm upset that I've never seen a movie or read a book where this happens. Maybe a Little Mermaid style aquatic fantasy world where submarines are eldritch terrors. Or a submarine is the villain in a slasher movie about deep sea divers. Endless possibilities.
