I wonder if this is genuinely an inter-capitalist war being waged against finance capital right now

As most know, there are multiple fronts in America's capitalist class. The industrial, largely national bourgeoisie against the tech and financial international bourgeoisie. The former being represented by the Republicans who want to reign in America's interests from the world to benefit their own industries while the latter represented by the Democrats want to further expand their reach throughout the world

But a better representation of America's ruling class conflicts would be the military industrial complex front against the tech and finance front. The MIC massively benefits from sabre rattling and conflicts all over the world, even against military superpowers like Iran, Russia, and China. However, the tech and finance bourgeoisie benefit from having open access to these markets, which can't happen if a world war breaks out or if the entire country gets completely sanctioned like Iran and Russia

We have seen multiple international corporations' CEO visit China with a warm and friendly gesture even amid the rising tensions because they know their interests lie with friendly relations with the middle kingdom

The JPMorgan CEO, in particular has said extremely strong words about continuing business with China

I wonder if these are hits ordered from the MIC or the ClA to remove the pro-China board members
