Good that they could find four anonymous French citizens to talk about how not racist the police officers that called protesters "a horde of savages" are. Good on you Lucille, Marie, Jeanne and checks notes black friend.

They also called them "pests" or "cockroaches" apparently with a specific French word that implies extermination. The response has been straight up fascist genocidal rhetoric. Which of course makes the totally representative and reasonable quotes they managed to dig up or invent here all the more disgusting.

I will now yell at the author and people interviewed (if they exist) because I'm at my limit with this shit.

"This rioting has nothing to do with what happened. Of course, the kid shouldn't have been killed. But what was he doing joyriding without a licence at eight o'clock in the morning, when children are going to school?"

He shouldn't have been killed but actually it was his fault because he drove a car without a licence. Is there actually any proof he was joyriding or driving dangerously or anything? It was an ID check - the type French police carry out tens of thousands of in certain neighbourhoods to harras and prey on residents - where a fascist pig decided to execute a kid for his own fash, pig reasons.

They have little time for the dead teenager's mother, Mounia, who took part in a mass march in memory of Nahel on Thursday. "What was she doing up on that open-top van in the march? It was undignified. That wasn't a march of grief. She's playing politics." The others nod in agreement.

These women have to be some of the biggest pieces of shit in existence. The woman's son was just fucking murdered for no reason, his violent gory death broadcast across the world as a horrible spectacle, with millions of piece of shit fascists, media like this, and politicians lining up to smear his memory and explain why he and all the other people who look like him deserve it, and your first thought is that she must be the world's most sociopathic mother and is only using his death mere hours later to play politics whatever the fuck that means!? Who's the empathy-free, dead eyed sociopath in this dynamic you evil fucks!?

"This tax office serves the people of Nanterre. The money that comes from here is used to buy them services. What on earth is the point of attacking it? It's a totally disproportionate response."

A child died. Was murderd. One of dozens in a list that only every gets longer. Some windows got broken. Which is the greater tragedy? Now ask yourself again if it's a disproportionate response.

Cyril, however, says he is broadly sympathetic with people who want to protest against Tuesday's killing. "I'm not sure if racist police is correct. Let's just say they have an attitude. The kids around here have all had rough treatment, often because they were doing something stupid, sure.

Total liberal denial. The idea that the French police aren't racist is like saying water isn't wet. After someone you knew just drowned in it. And then the water released a statement bragging about how wet it is and how it'll drown everyone else you know too. "An attitude". Fuck off.

On one level, all the standard accoutrements of the generous French state are plain to see. Tricolours fly; the préfet comes to survey his domain; Metro trains whizz underground and, in the looming towers of La Défense multinationals make their billions.

The French government is pulling all sorts of illegal and antidemocratic shit to massively slash whatever is left of this so called "generous" state you BBC fuckwit. And those don't sound like very generous examples - a flag flown by fascists and nationalists of all levels that explicitly go out of their way to remind people like Nahel that he doesn't count as French, the same flag that's dripping in blood from violently putting down Algerians for over a century. A nameless beurucrat from the same state apparatus "surveys his domain" only because there's been property damage. While the financial districts make fucking billions on exploitation and oppression in their ivory towers, all while funding and demanding the same fascist state and every more reactionary and militarised police that led to this in the first place.

But in the same geographic space, there is another way of being: one which appears utterly alienated from the system; which is quick to see and reflect hostility; which says "ici on est chez nous" - this patch is ours - and gives the finger to unwanted outsiders, like the press.

Yeah I wonder why, you fucking vulture. Almost as if they're used to the vile propagandists of a system that hates and victimised them showing up to piss on their graves and whip up even more bile, hate, and rationales for why their suffering is justified. Just like in 2005, which you immediately pivot too. Fuck you.

No proof of dangerous driving, just that he was 17. I had heard he was doing delivery work but not sure the truth of it.

An approach to a group of young men - some bearded, one built like a bodybuilder - outside the Le 35 café prompts an aggressive outburst of swearing and a pointed finger directing me to keep out.

Yeah no wonder they wouldn't want to talk to this fucking vulture.

Sky News is exactly like this as well. Creating a narrative that the entire population opposes it, when the reality I have seen is that the majority of the population has a "fuck around and find out" attitude and blames the government for creating the conditions that led to this rather than these people specifically.

Liberals want to make it a personal responsibility thing of course.
