After the whole ZA/UM fiasco, I choose to believe that The Return is canonical and the RCM ignites the fire of a new revolution/is the vanguard.
We'll probably never know. Unless Kurvitz retakes the DE ip or tell us the plot he had envisioned for the DE world, a few years down the road.
After the people make game’s documentary I firmly beleive the people still there can write a good story. Seeing that they did most of the extended cut stuff.
