Watched The Graduate for the first time a few weeks ago. It's really well shot and the first half does a really, really good job of conveying Hoffman's character's feelings of suffocation and isolation, but holy shit does the movie go bonkers in the second half. Maybe I'm a dunderhead but I couldnt understand anyone's motivations for any decision they made.
