    honestly that's not the worst idea. But on the other hand, it seeing you doesn't mean it will not fuck up and run you over, so your last moments could be spent staring at its cold, dead cartoon eyes

    This isn't even the worst fucking idea I've seen. Building the equivalent of turn-signals on a vehicle to let others know that they're identifying pedestrians and responding appropriately would - in a sane and healthy world - be good.

    But since this is just a PR photo-op and not anything any car company is serious about including, its just so much white noise.
