The last console i ever owned was a PS1, and after having a very bad time building a gaming pc back in like 2009, i've only played games on laptops from then. sometimes even on my work laptop. Everytime i hear about console exclusives or some other bs I convince myself further i really don't want a console.
I keep wanting to get a steam deck but it's quite an expense, and idk if I want something where I can spend more time on the couch.
I'd just get a prebuilt desktop. Or buy the parts and pay someone else to build it for you. I also hate building computers, I was a nervous wreck both times I did it, and also fucked up inconsequential things that I never ended up fixing lol.
Consoles probably aren't worth it. I like Bloodborne, but, any day now, that's my cope.

I use my pc mostly as a netflix and writing machine, so a beefy laptop where i can run a few games on low seems to be doing the trick for me.
