On Wednesday evening, Anchor Brewing Union advised Sapporo USA that workers want to purchase the brewery and run it as a worker co-op.

I’d be shocked if Sapporo would let this happen, but nevertheless fidel-salute

    Thinking they would sell would require one to accept the premise that the brewery is not being closed explicitly to punish the union.

      I'm torn, because I know capitalists love to punish organized labor out of spite, but I also would completely believe that Sapporo just has no clue how to run an American small market brewery.
