What is actually the root of this meme? It’s become such an association that I have no idea anymore
Back in 2014, in the campaign on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, there's a bit where you attend the military funeral for one of your KIA compatriots, and there's a prompt at one point that literally says "Press F to pay respects". It was such an absurd line that it became the meme that never seems to age
The other day I was messing with my steam deck and the Steam menu had a screen about button mapping to PC keyboard and/or Xbox controllers. The 2 examples were "press F to pay respects" and "X to Doubt". Pretty charming
