is it possible for us to upstream the emoji picker so it works on the lemmy apps? I'm rather liking jerboa, except for the inability to find emoji.
its up to the frontend to implement it; emoji picker is already upstream to lemmy main

Are you able to log into Jerboa from hexbear? I've been unable to for some reason.
If you're still having this issue, have you made sure to enter hexbear.net rather than just hexbear.net? I couldn't log in on the app I use either until I realised I had to use the former rather than the latter.
