This reminds me of this picture:

    Show
of which Lenin said (approximately): "Good! I look like a Finnish peasant!"

The last Lenin's statue in Finland, situated in Kotka, was removed after, how does the Finnish media say, "The Attack War in Ukraine started by Russia". Some people said that Lenin and USSR had nothing to do with "TAWUR", but Finnish russophobes don't give a shit. There is still a "Lenininpuisto" (Lenin Park) in Helsinki, who the fascists wanted to rename "Lotanpuisto" after the genocidal girlbosses of Finland. And the fascist won, once again, because Stalin should not have stopped at Tali-Ihantala.

This stuff is especially depressing because this sort of revanchist militarist nationalism didn't seem to to be much of a thing, like the frothingfash KARJALA TAKASIN sort of rhetoric was limited to fat guys in Finnish lion t-shirts.

There was even a period of time where the media was pushing for closer economic ties with Russia. I remember some politician floating around the idea of Finnish schools putting more of an emphasis on teaching Russian for the sake of business, which predictably got a lot of very angry responses.

Hell, many Finnish chud types were even fans of Putin because based defender against globohomo or whatever.

I'm also reminded of how in recent years there has been some weird masturbation about Civil War atrocities committed by the Whites by fascist musicians

The Lenin museum in Tampere was where he and Stalin supposedly met for the first time.

I learned from there that they wanted to relocate Lenin’s body to Finland after the USSR ceased to exist. The end of the Cold War really was a fuck for Russia.
