It's always so confusing to me how people (though I can't speak specifically to the person this pic is about) who traditionally hate Mexicans, Jews, Black people, Chinese people, Arabs, etc. (basically non-white, non-Western, non-Japanese (cause weabs)) can also be attracted to entirely non-human beings like furries and see nothing odd about it; see also nazi bronies, who like a show about friendship and acceptance and yet swing hard towards hateful views of others. Then again it's fetishization and had these characters been real and had most likely entirely contradicting viewpoints, they'd dislike them as people but would still be sexually attracted to them.
Similarly to how you have reactionaries who like Avatar the last airbender, which as far as I'm aware has no white characters and is also about acceptance and ignores skin color related bigotry, and yet had the characters been real they'd clearly not share the same hateful outlook (although this one obviously is not related to fetishization).

Back in the heyday of generation 4 (the one that exploded onto the internet in the early 10s) there was a large and active blog called "My Nationalist Pony" dedicated to arguing that the show promoted white supremacist values (the blog owner was a Nazi and considered this a good thing)
Mercifully this sort of thing seems to have dropped off sharply in the current generation, possibly because the movie's villain was the failson of a war profiteer who spread xenophobic propaganda to sell her F-35 tier weapons. Also a story arc towards the end of gen 4 where the protagonists open a school to promote friendship among all the races.
Primarily reactionaries yes; for example they hate people of Asian descent, but are still physically attracted to women who are ethnically Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc.
