I use the skilhunt h03c rc when I need red, but it looks like it's discontinued.
Also, Hank from intl-outdoors has all the flashlights custom built for the purchaser, so you can just get anything in red. I like the Noctigon K9.3 with a warm main channel and a sst-20 deep red second channel. A few button clicks will toggle the light from white to red, and the deep red sst-20s are a super great red color.

YES DO IT. But they're not joking about the fires. And the UI takes time and effort to memorize.
Do you have a list of good red lights? I don't want to fuck up wildlife when I'm trompimg around at night
