Anti-civ anarchists were passing out zines on how to disable substations with a rifle back in the day. If I had to put money on it I'd guess those guys.

if the primmies could get their shit together enough to do a terrorism and also not release a manifesto taking credit for it i would be very surprised

Just move to South Africa, you can even get multiple power cuts a day! Multiple Flash light use opportunities

That fucking sub cost me a shit ton of money. But because of the lights I have now, I've rescued a dog that got out at night, and adverted collateral car accidents from an initial collision on a moonless night. A good flashlight is really valuable.

What flashlight should someone who can't be bothered to research anything buy?

          Depends on your needs.

What do you intend to use it for? Do you need it to be small and light? Do you need it to be waterproof? Do you want built in charging? Do you want a "hot rod" that can be programmed and literally start fires, or just basic use?

If I could only choose one, I'd go with the Skillhunt H04 RC with the neutral tint high CRI emitter. It's a right angle light with a magnet in the tail and comes with a headband to use as a headlamp. Sightly programmable, plenty bright or dim, good battery life, built in charger and waterproof. It checks pretty much every box of practicality.
